What is the Turnaround Time (TAT) for test results?

Turnaround Time (TAT) is the time lapse in days counting Monday through Friday but not including specified Holidays from the receipt of the specimen in the laboratory until the test results are available to the requestor electronically.

  • Routine Blood tests are typically available between 24 hours and 96 hours.
  • Urinary Tract Infection tests (Molecular) are typically available 24 hours (negative) and 48 hours (positive with antibiotic reflex).
  • Drug Monitoring (Toxicology) tests are typically available between 24 hours (screen) and 48 hours (definitive confirmation).
  • Allergen360 tests are typically available between 3 days (environmental) and 7 days (dietary).
  • Respiratory Pathogen tests are typically available 24 hours (negative) and 48 hours (positive with antibiotic reflex).
  • COVID-19 Molecular (PCR) tests are typically available within 24 hours.
